Conception and Realization
We design concepts with course programms for our customers' needs, especially for larger training projects like the migration from Windows NT to Linux, the change to Java / J2EE in your development department, on-the-job training or instruction in special fields.
As an example, for GfN and Giesecke & Devrient we developed and realized a training concept to reeducate trainees from diverse professions in smart card development within 3 months. The spectrum of subjects covered includes: principles of computer science and operating systems, an insight into hardware architecture, assembler, machine programming and networks, the C programming language, the tools in use at Giesecke & Devrient, configuration management and requirements management, an overview of processes with a closer look at the Rational Unified Process and Extreme Programming as well as object oriented analysis and design with UML. The training was concluded by the realization of a smart card and terminal simulation with a virtual money card application with a focus on software testing.
That seminars on topics like J2EE, Linux or XML are part of our standard repertoire, goes without saying.
Instruction Material
Especially for customer-specific long-term training projects, books or off-the-shelf materials are not convenient resources. We therefor have our own substantial catalog of modular instruction material including slides and student kits for workshops.
